Refund & Custom Build Policy

At Bioactive Habitats, every enclosure is handmade and custom-built specifically for each customer and their pet. Because of the time, materials, live plants, and personalized work that goes into every build, we do not offer refunds, returns, or cancellations once work has begun on an order.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust our customers place in us to create beautiful, safe, and enriching habitats for their animals, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

For highly customized builds with detailed personalization requests, we do our absolute best to match your vision as closely and accurately as possible. Throughout the building process, we may provide updates, photos, and videos to ensure your enclosure is being crafted correctly and to give you peace of mind during the process.

Due to the handmade nature of our enclosures and the fragility of glass, natural materials, plants, and décor during shipping, minor shifts to substrate, moss, plants, or décor may occasionally occur in transit.

If your enclosure arrives with any damage, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of both the packaging and the damage. We will always do our best to work with you and make things right depending on the severity and nature of the issue.
